The Certificate Program
The Certificate program consists of 5 required courses that are available through UBC’s External Programs and Learning Technologies (EPLT) as distance education courses. The goal of the Certificate program is to provide students with a basic foundation of the knowledge and skills needed to work in ID and SCC programs. The Certificate they will receive upon completion of the 5 courses will reflect the fact that they have taken this introductory level of training within a reasonable time frame (approximately 2 years) on a part-time basis. Credits earned through the Certificate program may be applied to the Diploma program.
